Before you buy an expensive new chair to replace the old worn one, take a trip to your local fabric store and see if you can find an upholstery fabric that you can reupholster the chair to vintage lounge chair.

Remove all staples from the chair using needle nose pliers. Remove all fabric and batting from your chair without ripping the fabric. Place new fighting on the chair, stapling it in place with a staple gun. Drape new fabric over the back of his chair and tuck in the sides and on the back.
